For an activity with a difference try our alpaca trekking experience.
Join Chewpaca, Harry Potter, Ghost, and Casper on a trek along the paths and trails around Action Glen on the Crieff Hydro Estate. On this hour-long experience, you'll have the chance to learn more about our friendly alpacas and meet our other animals too. Don't worry - there will be plenty of photo opportunities throughout the experience.
Our treks are led by experienced guides who are knowledgeable about the alpacas and the terrain. Our guides will ensure that both the alpacas and, of course, you and your group, are safe throughout the trek. Create lasting memories with our furry friends.
What to Expect
Get up close and personal with our friendly alpacas.
- One-hour experience – including stops to take in the views and for photo opportunities.
- Up to four people per an alpaca, but only one person can walk with the alpaca at any one time (take turns walking the alpaca and then you’ll need to walk behind the group when not with the alpaca).
- £50.00 per one hour slot (includes up to 4 people).
- Bags of feed are available to add on for £2.50 at our reception on check-in.
- Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult to help hold and guide the Alpaca.
- You’ll need to wear outdoor walking boots or wellies for the trek.
